Over in the ‘War in Libya’ category, Art posted a list of other potential hot-spots which could flare up while the U.S. and NATO are preoccupied with the Mideast tinder-box.

“China takes Tawain” was mentioned, to which I added: TIBET

Art asked me to elaborate, so in a nutshell I’ll simply say it revolves around religious freedom/persecution and sovereignty. Natural resources (for China) play into it also.

In recent days, 300+ monks have disappeared during the night (a la KGB style):

    300 Monks forcibly removed

The organization also cites ‘Human Rights’ violations, but that issue has become so common (been through a TSA screening lately?) as to be a ‘given’ almost anywhere.

I put this under ‘War in Asia’, since that seemed closest to Australia…

Australia has been dealing with their own immigrant problems … below are a news article and an opinion piece:

While this may fall under the “unrest” rather than “war” category, the Aussies find themselves in a bit of a mess (much like Europe). They are caught between political correctness and a public that is sick of paying “benefits” to new immigrants.

    • Art Stone says:

Some of the ones I added are more “preludes to war” so when it happens there is a trail of bread crumbs

Who could have forseen that using the world’s supply of food to make ethanol would have such far ranging consequences?

Actually it’s worse, and has been going on for some time now… mostly due to ‘asylum’ for Pakistani’s (“Paki’s” as the Aussie’s call them) and Africans.

As I understand it, the liberal government bureaucrats have been providing check$, housing, and food allowances for ‘refugee’ Africans as soon as they literally step off the plane. The “Paki’s” have been attacking and gang-raping Aussie women in various resort/beach communities because ‘they asked for it’ by wearing bathing suits and other ‘seductive’ clothing.

Big culture clash taking place, but a fair number of Aussie’s are now ‘revolting’.

So perhaps in addition to “War in …” we need “War on …” items.
e.g. War on Drugs, War on Poverty, War on Racism, War on Whites…
