A former leader of the Tamil Tigers says the UN and an unnamed “Western Country” intervened and rescued the leadership of the rebel leaders of the civil war in Sri Lanka two years ago as the revolutionary movement was about to be crushed.
The hot bed of remaining support for the Tamil tigers seems to be in Canada and Australia. I don’t know if Australia would be called a “Western country”. India is another possibility. Or he might have just made that up.
