The “Cronkite Award”

You may have heard that the newest MSNBC host won the “Cronkite Award” for something or other after 3 days on the job. Ronan Farrow is the daughter of Mia Farrow and probably Frank Sinatra. I didn’t hear it, but apparently Rush Limbaugh made a big deal over this.

It turns out he didn’t win THE Walter Cronkite award. That actual award is issued every two years by the Annenberg School of Journalism at USC

Ronan’s so called award is from some fringe group called the Reach the World, a 501(c)(3) charity that meddles in education policy.

Ronan is a lawyer and worked for Hillary at the State Department. The ratings So far sugguest his audience will be post menopausal women with husbands who cheat on them, not the young hipster Jon Stewart crowd.

It amazes me that anyone watches MSNBC – a constant diet of Pro-Obama, pro-Progressive propaganda. If you don’t get enough of it there, you can also try CNBC. Seems anything with NBC in it is mostly propaganda for the left.

briand75, the Comcast (NBC owener) CEO isn’t likely to change that any time soon.

      from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_L._Roberts

“Since 2006, Roberts made more than $76,000 in political contributions to Democrats and $13,500 in contributions to Republicans. [14]

“In December 2009, he wrote a letter to President Barack Obama endorsing his Affordable Care Act.[15] He was named to President Obama’s Jobs and Competitiveness Council in February, 2011.

Ronan is the son of Frank Sinatra (looks just like him) and Mia Farrow…not the daughter.
But…thanks for the clarification on the award…I didn’t know the difference.

From my brief reading, Mia says that Frank Sinatra could have been his father, and Woody Allen doesn’t dispute that he probably isn’t his father. Ronan apparently gets mileage out of bitterness that his “sister” is his father’s wife. Welcome to Hollywood.

Whenever anyone is chosen for some award, or special honor, after so short a career then it’s probably all downhill thereafter. Rumors were that he was on the brink of anonymity after only 3 days, so something had to be done to attract viewers. What other good reason is there?

    • Art Stone says:

Women who fell in love with Frank Sinatra having their hearts go pitter patter?

Clearly he is in the job laying the foundation for the Hillary 2016 campaign and a ton of free advertising – the flaw being that nobody watches the show and none that do are going to change their vote because of it.
