Who pulls the strings at Slate Magazine?

Here come the progressive war hawks (like Woodrow Wilson who got us mired into World War One)
WW1 and Woodrow Wilson

(Foreign from what perspective?)

Slate was started by MSNBC and now is owned by Graham Holdings, the family holdings of the woman who owned the Washington Post.

Graham Holdings was in the news very recently because Warren Buffet needed a way to exploit tax loopholes to avoid paying hundreds of millions in corporate income tax, so he arranged a stock swap with his close person friend at the Washington Post. His secretary needs a raise to pay her Obamacare premiums.

None dare call it crony capitalism.

“Bunny” Mellon, friend of Jackie O and $750,000 donor to John Edwards, died this past week and leaves behind her husband’s fortune estimated to be at least $400 million. And the gullible people listening to Democracy Now! think this country is run by the Koch brothers.

Well, you’ve answered your own question, “the gullible people listening to Democracy Now! think this country is run by the Koch brothers.”

My theory is those people are not even ‘low-information’ folks, it’s more akin to the Lemming Affect, an idea is implanted into their brains (hypothetical assumption), see others going the same way, just follow the one in front of them and over the ‘cliff’ they go.

I haven’t lived forever, but I have observed there are two basic types of people: 1) Those who question things and act based on informed conclusions; and 2) Sheep who follow blindly (aka “Kool-Aid” drinkers). Slate would appear to be directed by someone who enjoys herding sheep.
