Revised registration process

I’m shocked that letting Google know the blog exists caused a flood of bogus registrations (even with my US only filters).

Should anyone try to register, they now have to confirm the registration before the account is even created, so I don’t have to delete them.

I’ve turned off registration entirely for now. Email me if you want registered (not likely)

Another curious thing is going on – the Radio Stations by State page is blowing up multiple times a day because “people” are putting “-1” in as the two character state code. If you run php on a web server, there are constant probes trying to look for pages exploitable for SQL Injection attacks. These requests are all coming from computers in web hosting services, not cable or DSL humans. We are going to rue the day the US Government created Stuxnet.

And so many folks believed that Stuxnet was a GOOD thing! I mean nothing bad has happened, as in a nuclear explosion, right?
