No more Joan Hamburg jokes.
Now that the interactive program search is live, it is more obvious I needed to clean up the programs that went away. Business Talk Radio Network (and Lifestyle) have basically imploded – one of the financial infomercials has wound on up WOR on the weekends. While updating that, I noticed that Joan Hamburg is not on the schedule any more. Clear Channel fired her a month ago.
According to her twitter feed, she’s summering at the Hamptons, gawking at celebrities and putting on weight

Mel Robbins is another casualty – she had a 5 hr/day show on Lifestyle – her web site now says she has a weekend show on WSB in Atlanta, but the WSB schedule does not show it
Road & Track Speed Radio with Ed Justice Jr is gone from Radio America, and exists now only as a podcast (I think)
ahahahah Joan Hamburger is out of my pay grade…
who the hell??
She is the queen of New York Talk radio, and don’t you forget it!
I’m finding even more programs have left business talk radio network – a few have wound up on IRN/USA, which have no affiliates that I know – other than the top of the hour news
