John F Kerry to Israel: give Peace a Chance

http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/.premium-1.604845

Late last night, I happened to catch Frank Gaffney, who I believe to be the most aggressive propagandist for the Pentagon – talking to a retired general about the immediate need to bomb Iran back into the stone ages, lest Iran explode a nuclear weapon today in Times Square (or attack Israel).

My lib-o-meter continues its drift to the left. I want no part of this.

I hear you regarding the saber rattling by the Pentagon’s proponents for the aggressive use of force against (fill-in-the-blank-here). My thoughts on it are similar to yours except I don’t consider my position to be going in either a left of center or a right of center direction. First, consider the Iranian (Persian) history has been volatile. Hells Bells, the entire Mesopotamian region has been in constant strife and warfare over the past 6 millennium, just as the Mesoamerican (Mexico and Central America region) has been in chaos and warfare.

This was quite predictable as I opined a few days ago regarding the disintegration of Iraq and the movement by the Kurds toward independence. Just last weekend, Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi was warning the break-up would lead to the ‘catastrophic’ division of Iraq into smaller rival states.

The Iranians are aligned with the Russians and Chinese. The Iranians hate Israel with a passion, but then who doesn’t? The Iranians are backing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. For various and nefarious reasons the Criminal Class is attempting to stomp on the Kurdish people’s right to gain their independence.

U.S. President Ba-rack Obama made an agreement in January 2014 to give Iran 6 months to curtail its nuclear program over a six month period in exchange for lifting sanctions imposed by the six major powers: Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States.

Time is almost up! War between the Mafioso clans are heating up once again.

Oh, and those 100’s of thousands of immigrants pouring over the Southwestern American borders thingy, well, that’s yesterday’s news. Now we need to focus on those ‘bad’ Iranians like the Establishment Media wants us to do.

Also, pay no attention to that man (oh wait, ‘xcuse me) that person/thingy behind the curtain pulling the levers, you know to whom I refer, those Banksters who are licking their chops and salivating at the profits they will rake-in should war break-out and the missiles and bombs fly toward their destination of destruction.

But, no worries mate ’cause the Feds will loan American another Trillion dollars, since the rest of the world’s countries won’t do it, and/or can not do it ’cause they ain’t got no money to give us, especially now that they know we won’t give ’em any payback, unless it’s in the form of a missile with the payload in its nose.

Oh, did anyone catch the emphasis on the 6 month agreement with Iran, that ends in 6 months, given by the 6 major powers? See how deceptive the Criminal Class has become?

And one last thingy about how al-Obama ‘fiddles’ away his time shootin’ pool, while his nemesis, Vladimir Putin is busy rescuing more distressed nations from the jaws of the Banksters.

The most noteworthy thing I saw was the claim that firing a weapon at a nuclear facility satisfies the definition of “nuclear terrorism”

        Example:
        http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/07/10/Nuclear-Terrorism-Hamas-Targets-Israel-s-Dimona-Reactor

Firstly, hitting a nuclear power plant would not result in a nuclear detonation. The fuel is not enriched enough to support that, and you need a high pressure explosion imploding the core. That picture is nonsense.

        I’ll add to that:
        1) Israel has never admitted it has a nuclear weapons program
        2) Israel is not a signatory to the international treaties on nuclear weapons proliferation
        3) June 7th, 1981

Stories that Iran is very close to developing an ICBM to launch nukes at the US are bullshit – from the same folks who made up the WMD claims about Iraq.

Iranian mullahs may be zealots, misguided in my opinion, but would they actually throw a nuclear weapon at Israel, or anybody else for the matter?

I would bet there are nukes available to the ‘right’ buyer. Also, who was the Pakistani who spread the engineering plans for building a hydrogen bomb? Plus it’s much easier to build an atomic bomb, which is used to trigger a hydrogen bomb, and it could still do mucho damage.

By the way, as all nuclear powers learned by experience, it makes a huge difference in the yield (explosive power in TNT) at what ‘TIME’ a nuclear device is detonated.

The first Hydrogen bomb, Ivy Mike was detonated on October 31, 1952 (some sources say 11/01/1952) with an expected yield of 4-5 megatons of TNT, but 10.4–12 megatons was its calculated yield after detonation. It is not widely understood what is actually going on with the difference in the power of the detonation, but it appears to depend on the location of the planets, moons, stars and so forth.

The latest response from both Israel and Hamas was for Kerry to butt out. Kerry has not one positive accomplishment and the peace process would better be served without him.

  2. briand75 says:

I am sure it was Hamas who wanted no part of a brokered peace. In fact, it would do the world good to realize that Hamas/Al Quaeda/ISIS/Boko Haram don’t want peace. Peace is antithetical to their raison d’etre.

My sub was sailing off the coast of Vietnam and I am pretty sure I spotted John F Kerry sunning himself on the beach through the periscope.

By now, you probably have heard that “someone” shot down a commercial airliner over Ukraine using a sophisticated Russian surface-to-air missile system. Queen to Rook eight – your move President Obama.

  5. Rick.Blibit says:

President O doesn’t have a move. He never learned to play the game of Chess. He only plays the game he learned from a guy named Saul. And he plays it very well. And it works VERY WELL when played for a VERY dumbed-down population. This whole “thing” is NOT looking very good to me (the “thing” I speak of is Liberty). We are teetering on the edge of an abyss, and no one seems to be extending a hand to pull us back from the edge.

    • Art Stone says:

Possibly on the positive side – continue the chess analogy – Putin is playing with a very stripped-down board – he has a bunch of pawns and a queen and not much else. Obama largely gave away our queen (nuclear weapons). Putin’s military and other assets are spread very thin and likely ineffective against United States in conventional warfare. If we keep using our forces to whittle away the pawns (Libya, Syria, Ukraine) there will come a point at which Putin has no option but to surrender or use his queen in a final last-ditch preemptive attack.

If instead, we take out his queen – what does China do? If I am China, I want the Asian part of Russia and its natural resources to belong to me.
