I told you this was coming. It is a long standing belief in the Black Communisty that the reason the prisons are filled with black men is not that they commit crimes, but that juries and judges put them in prison for things a white person would not be charged with. Crack cocaine is their poster child.
Mr Holder wants “certain individuals” released – the NY Times story makes it clear further down that he is referring to black men. The Pelosi Congress pass a law in 2010 to make crack carry a sentence no harsher than regular cocaine. Mr Holder would like those sentencing guidelines to be applied retroactively to black men currently in prison.
In unrelated news, a woman who committed a murder in the public housing project about 3 miles from me was sent to prison for 12 years. The stabbing occurred on father’s day, and the motive was never made very clear other than the woman was upset.
The irony is most of these crack addicts are going to return right back to the black neighborhoods they came from – it’s mostly black people who are going to suffer the consequences of this misguided change. Where is Ken Hamblin when you need him?
