Not so subtle changes at Univision

Univision is a Spanish language network of radio (and TV) stations in the US. They came under intense pressure during he Reagan are for being defacto controlled by Mexicans, which is contrary to law. For my 2009ish history of Univision

If you read that, you’ll start to get the message that letting Mexicans invade is bipartisan.

The “change” has two parts – all of their AM stations are now called “Univision America”, a national simulcast for sending out instructions to the masses. Many of the FM stations have switched from the harmless sounding “Mexican Accordian” music with the big floppy sombreros and are now aggressive “in your face” Young Latino music.
