Radio One is the “black” radio network founded by Cathy Hughes starting with WOL-AM in Washington DC. The stations send out a daily newsletter to their mailing list, which I read carefully.
When Eric Holder resigned, the stations were amazingly silent on why and who forced him to resign. Almost every day since it happened, Radio One has been inciting the “Communisty” to become violent over events in Ferguson, Missouri.
Tim Scott became the first Black Senator from the South since a Reconstruction, which is newsworthy. He was running in a special election in South Carolina.

Radio One can’t bring themselves to say that Tim Scott is a Republican, the party founded by Abraham Lincoln to end slavery. They mention Tim Scott defeated a Democrat, and is a TEA party supporter, but refuse to use the “R” word. He won with 61% of the vote, more than Lindsay Graham who was running for reelection.
