Radio Campesina is a network of FM radio stations that stretch along the West coast from Phoenix to Seattle – Campesino is the term used to describe Mexican farm workers. Radio Campesina (Female) is run by the organization started by Caesar Chavez back when he was fighting illegal immigration to protect his farm worker’s Union and Democrats boycotted lettuce.
Foyle just stumbled on the fact they have a new web site – one for each station rather than a simulcast. This group of stations was in financial trouble a few years ago that they turned off most of their transmitters.
Well, each city now has its own Facebook page. Imagine my shock when I saw this:
