People other than radio geeks rarely search by callsign. Starting tonight, I’m gathering the home page titles (there are a lot to gather!), but now if you use the station search, it will return stations that match your search – like Jazz, ESPN, Rock, Philly, etc

Every station should have a title at this point. If the web page didn’t have a title, it is set to the station name i.e. KIDD-FM.
Since it’s clear automation is going to be necessary, that’s where resources will be focused. Every station should have been checked for issues – in excess of 1000 are marked as needing human review. My priority is major markets. Errors in Saipan will have to wait.
Spotting format changes is much easier now – just pick a format, then scan the titles for something unexpected like a news/talk station carrying hip hop
Anyone tried it?
