Lions are not afraid of humans – except maybe the British scientists who constantly shoot the lions with darts to knock them out to take blood samples

I wonder which falsetto was first – these guys or Frankie Valli? I am thinking Valli gets the nod. Good stuff.

One of the few concerts I’ve attended was Frankie Valli at my college. My small college had booked him have at a reasonable fee because nobody remembered who he was – and then he hit gold with “My eyes adored you”. The concert promoter tried to lean on the school to raise the fee, but he honored the original terms.

“Live” music often has “enhancement” unknown to the audience – the most common is when a singer has a really long note to hold, or a high note like the final note of McArthur Park. While maybe things were done in a studio to produce a song, recreating it as a 70 year old is very unlikely.

I couldn’t decide if this was being lip synced – my guess was that it was with a small portion of it (without the high notes) redone to make it sound slightly different than the recording. It was entertaining, either way.
