The Find Radio/TV near me Has been improved to support autosuggestion.
The general purpose of this feature is to allow a mobile user to find a list of radio stations that have transmitters close by, generally in the order of strongest to weakest, based on exactly where you are.
However, you may not want to tell me within a few feet of where you are! Or you might want to ask about a hypothetical location.
Upon arriving here, you see this:

Clicking the buttons then asks the device to disclose your latitude and longitude. Your browser will then ask permission to tell the server. If your device doesn’t have GPS or you are on a desktop that has no idea where it is, you can type a city name instead. You’ll get a list of matching city names as you type. Choosing a name by selecting it, will cause the location of the post office (as of 20 years ago!) to be used as the starting point.
So if I click on Yorketown, NJ, I get this
A couple days ago, I got a request for information about an AM radio station that vanished a couple weeks ago. With this tool, you can drive toward the transmitter antenna and see if it shows up when you get closer (indicating running at partial power), no signal at all, or there is a signal but not coming from that tower (which means the station moved the transmitter, possibly without telling the FCC)
