Saskatchewan and Alberta are kind of like Kansas, with a shorter growing season. They resent the people from Ontario and especially Quebec, they view as socialist parasites. They are much less hostile to Americans. We buy their food products and oil. British Columbia and Northwest territories are like Alaska. Lots of trees and not much else. Vancouver is similar to Seattle, since it is basically on the other side of the border. Living in Vancouver is extremely expensive. If you really want to get away from it all, move to Nunavut. It’s a First Nation community that sort of seceded from Canada. There is no road to get there, and much of the year the ice prevents ships from getting in. By late spring, the prices of slushees at the 7/11 get high if the ice is late in melting due to global warming.
Donald Trump was in Raleigh this evening. His supporters were much more lively, not AFCSME union workers told to show up.
The really strangest thing was that when Obama was talking, it was like he was running for a third term – as if Hillary won’t be running in November. Maybe Constitutional scholar Professor Obama thinks the Supreme Court will declare that the 22nd Amendment to be Unconstitutional. I’m pretty sure 3 would support that.
It wouldn’t get to the Supreme Court, or to any court. That slimeball Comey would conclude they didn’t intend to do anything wrong. He is more intent on forcing Apple to give him a masterkey to unlock all our phones.

Slightly related, on the NASA TV show on the Juno spacecraft entering orbit and the SpaceX launches, the millennials they put in front of the cameras engage in rhythmic clapping like the waitresses do in those chain restaurants.
In the case of the NASA coverage, they went overboard on the STEM diversity. While the news conference ahead of time had the two old white scientists who dream in mathematical equations and actually were responsible for the success of the 15 year long project, the actual “show” was hosted by an Asian woman, who handed off to a black woman who interviewed a Hispanic high school student who had trouble making a sentence and a black man who works for Martin Marietta about the testing of the spacecraft for the extremes of space. He was not old enough to have actually designed or done the testing. It was obviously prerecorded as well, as he made reference to “in July” as a future time (the spacecraft entered Jupiter orbit on July 4th)

I tell you, that was one strange press conference Comey had yesterday. Lets see if he talks about Benghazi , Cattle Futures and Vince Foster tomorrow in congress.
If they botch this up again in the House, like they did with the Benghazi Gun Running Operation investigation-then we need to go to DC and throw all these ( Beep) onto a pile of burning truck tires !
Now there are rumors that Putin is going to "data dump" all of Clinton's emails–which would be a very nice thing, but I am not holding my breath.

I heard a piece of the audio, no video.
My take on it was in line with my prediction. The FBI doesn’t indict – it makes referrals based on evidence. He was saying there is no doubt she broke the laws – but the DoJ is not going to refer to a grand jury… If they did, no grand jury would indict, even if the did, no jury would convict, and even if they did, it would be after she is already President. So recommending prosecution is lose-lose-lose, no matter how strong the evidence.
None of this is new – go back to 1994 when Craig Livingstone loaded confidential FBI files into a server in the basement of the whitehouse to share with firms doing opposition research for future blackmail operations

I see on drudge a headline that when Hillary talked to the FBI head, she was not under oath. That is what I had assumed based on the wording of the original announcement. Is lying to the FBI only a crime if you are under oath?
I watched much of Comey’s testimony to Congress. As you said, the FBI did not put Hillary under oath. He did say that lying to the FBI is a crime whether under oath or not, but with further questioning state that there is no audio or video recording of the meeting with Hillary so any lying there would be a he said, she said dispute.
Rumor is that Bill’s secret mission in Phoenix was to get a list of questions from Lynch so that Hillary would be prepared for the meeting.
Comey said that the espionage law is seldom enforced against government employees without evidence of intent. Next time you are pulled over for speeding, just tell them that you didn’t intend to break the speeding law.
I concur that Hillary did not intend to expose classified material for the sake of exposing it. Instead, she intended to solicit “contributions” to herself and Bill through their “charity” while she was calling on people in her official capacity as Sec of State. Follow the money, Comey, Follow the money. The secret server was so she could cover her tracks.
In his description, he mentioned the FBI was called in by the Inspector General for the intelligence community (presumably the CIA). As Secretary of State, Hillary has very wide ranging authority over what information within the State Department is classified, or declassified. What she doesn’t have is the power to declassify materials provided to her by other agencies. Letting classified information slip out can expose methods and get people killed. If the CIA believes the Secretary of State can’t be trusted, she will have trouble getting information that is reliable.
That’s right. “Methods and sources”. The scrubbed information is classified at a lower level than the complete details that name the sources and how they became sources. Access is on a “need to know” basis to protect both methods and sources.
Forgot to mention above that Comey did not interview Clinton, he instead sent agents to do so.
How does Clinton use the information gathered by spies that risk their lives for our country? Here is something Comey should look into :
