Jerry Doyle dead at 60

http://www.tmz.com/2016/07/28/jerry-doyle-babylon-5-dead/

Doyle was found nonresponsive in his home in Vegas. Doyle has had health challenges through the years, in addition to the pressure of being the host still working for Talk Radio Network.

Doyle considered himself more of a libertarian than a Conservative. Add one more name to the Clinton suspicious death list.

    A shame to be sure. I liked Babylon 5 (I like Sci-Fi). I can’t say I was a regular listener, however.

Hillary harm anyone? Say it isn’t so. Ask Ron Brown, Vince Foster, and a host of others.

I remember when the Republicans were trying to introduce new laws to prevent gay couples from adopting children, he broke from the ranks and went against them.

He had said he was an orphan and the state regularly moved him from foster home to foster home and each time he prayed that the next family would love him and adopt him, but they never did. He said it would not have mattered whether they were rich or poor, white or black, gay or straight, he would have benefited as a child knowing that someone loved him.

Jerry was definitely damaged from that experience, but most people in show business have a similar story – going out on stage looking for approval. A couple years ago, Jerry vanished for a few months without explanation. When he showed back up, he had been hospitalized. He had broken up with his wife or girlfriend. He said something cryptic like “there is no truth to the rumor I tried to kill myself”. Other than Roy Masters hypnotizing his audience, there are none of the original weekday talent left at TRN. Sam Sorbo was the replacement for Laura Ingraham, but her affiliates are few and far between.

Hillary loves children – we heard that last night (Thurs) Perhaps Jerry would have been saved if the Clintons had fostered him?

Is there an autopsy pending? 60 is a little young to die.

    • Fred Stiening says:

Fox News says there was an autopsy. I expect the toxicology report may show something, there is no mention of more obvious causes (blunt force, car accident, gunshot, etc). He’s been in poor health. He might have just worn out.

Some guy named Robert Davi is replacing Jerry Doyle. Anyone familiar with him?

Now that the dust has settled, I am retesting the Jerry Doyle affiliates. Many are gone, but not necessarily recently. Most schedule items haven’t been tested in six months.

Robert Davi was talking about a wonderful food he enjoys – fish soup. He moved on to another random tidbit – that he has met Timothy Leary, the LSD guy, at some musical event. That’s an interesting coincidence, since former TRN radio host Michael “Savage” Weiner used to be a security guard for Leary. Small world.

  5. Parrott says:

yeah, he was one of the FBI agents on the first ‘Diehard’ movie. He was Agent Johnson. he played that FBI agent thing on a couple movies and then had a TV show for a while back in the 90’s I think. I wouldn’t mess with him.

I wonder what John B Wells is doing ? KYAH in Utah quit carrying his show., back in the spring.

TMZ has a vague report that alcoholism contributed to his death
