Breitbart takes over Trump campaign

Stephen Bannin has been named to take over the Trump campaign. He has a Harvard MBA and earlier in his life worked in the Goldman Sachs M&A division. He has been running the business aspects of Breitbart and has had a three hour a day show on a SiriusXM channel.

I don’t know that this will change anything, but it was Trump needed to do. There is a definite change in Trump the past few days – that he is finished trying to play nice with a Republican establishment that wants him to fail. It sounds like he is ready to call out Republicans who are refusing to support “the nominee”.

Trump pretty clearly is going to continue to not pour money into the traditional media. By going right at Hillary, he might cause unforced errors or Hillary to collapse (literally).

His statement is that while Paul Manifort will continue to advise the campaign, he was forced on Trump to try to rein Trump in to conform to the wishes of the Republican Party. Trump has decided he wants his long term friends running the campaign. The war drums are at full volume. The #nevertrump people are running out of time to do something.

Milo, Matt Drudge and Alex Jones will increasingly be the face and voice of the Donald Trump campaign. Will it work? The one thing that’s clear is Trump people are not heading for the exits.
