The Hoover Institution is one of the major sources of guests for John Batchelor. I incorrectly identified Ann Marlowe as being from there – she is not, she is from the Hudson Institute. They are very different organizations. Hoover is a throughtful public policy institute, Hudson is a military industrial complex lobbying organization that has never seen a war it doesn’t want to fight.
Richard Perl, Al Haig, Scooter Libby, Dan Quayle… are among the poeple who are or have been involved with Hudson. Despite the name, the Hudson is located in Washington, DC. So once you see this is the same group who pushed us to war in Iraq, it’s no surprise they want direct U.S. involement on the ground in Libya. Surely the children of Libya will welcome the U.S. forces by throwing flower petals at their feet.
Since Obama and his Soros/Brzezinsky/Carter/Kissinger group buddies want to be involved in these wars, is it safe to say that they are “eeeeevil neeeeeeocons” too?
Are we incapable of learning from past mistakes?
Partisan politics is just bread and circuses to distract us from what’s really going on.
Just trying to point out inconsistencies. I don’t support neocons, but it was hard not to hear the deafening roar during those years. I don’t hear them anymore, and it seems like more of the same.
The military industrial complex is bipartisan. I defy you to point to a partisan reference in my post 🙂
