I haven’t been paying much attention to this, but I’m also not surprised. Loading money onto a prepaid debit card makes you an unsecured creditor.

I guess I missed all of this – Suzie runs a scam? Say it isn’t so.
I never paid attention as I believed her audience to be women only.
Pretty much. She relied heavily on the woman card and Oprah to build her reputation. Since I haven’t watched TV since 1996, I can’t really pin down where I saw or heard her. My brain wants to say I heard her on Bob Brinker’s show.
My reaction to the bit about her prepaid debit card was not so much the $3 a month fee, but wondering where the funds were stored and how safe they were. The scene where she is sitting on stage next to Elizabeth Warren and gets asked about her actual training and background was priceless. Ms Orman says she authored a course for the University of Phienix.
