If you observe the American Public, it should come as no shock that about 1/3 of Americans have no view about anything in the world other than “What do my friends think?”.
Now that it looks like Qaddaffi is defeated (no more than a week – 10 days max), an additional 20% of the American Public is now telling pollsters “Oh yes, I was for the War for Peace the entire time”…
People need to keep that in mind when they stick their necks out and take risks. The public that is with you today can stab you in the back tomorrow. People like John Boehner know that. We get the government we deserve – spineless and without guiding principles other than amassing money and power.
