There is a train of thought that killing Qaddafi is payback for Pan Am 103 – overlooking that George Bush and Englsnd arrived at a settlement of the issue in 2004….
Early on, Qaddafi’s chief of the Security Service mysteriously “defected” straight to England, and was immediately released to the “rebels” and his personal funds released. He’s been a major source of information to NATO and the rebels.
He was the man who supervised the bombing of Pan Am 103 and was personally involved in the negotiations to release the actual bomber from custody in Scotland. At the time, I wondered if he was actually an agent working for England.
Now that Tripoli has maybe fallen, someone got around to demanding that the “near death” bomber be taken back into custody. The “Rebels” have responded angrily that “He has been tried already” and they will not surrender him.
So in conclusion, this means the man who planned Pan Am 103 and the man who planted the bomb are now being protected by and working for the “rebels”, not Qaddafi.
Who is the real enemy? Are you sure?
I can’t say much for his decision making skills. The Pan Am 103 architect would have lived longer if he had surrendered, but no matter… Now he’s sniper fodder for US special forces.
No, he’s in a room in Benghazi telling those special forces what to blow up next.
Art, Art… the rebels are just young people looking for democracy, Freedom Fighters, you know. The poor al-Megrahi is near death, didn’t you see his pathetic picture with the poor man taking in oxygen?
