Oh crap.

The jokes on me!

The number of radio station is about half of what it is supposed to be.   Something broke during the FCC update, and this is gonna be ugly.

I think I restored most of the datmage, but there may still be fringe issues with recent call sign changes, etc…

The FCC database has a “Country Code” that indicates where the station is located. The FCC tracks non-US radio stations because of international treaties.

The country code for the United States is “US”

Here is what those US stations had this morning for their new country code….

    +----------+---------+
    | count(*) | country |
    +----------+---------+
    | 398 | .0 |
    | 59 | .1 |
    | 74 | .2 |
    | 89 | .3 |
    | 101 | .4 |
    | 101 | .5 |
    | 82 | .6 |
    | 111 | .7 |
    | 119 | .8 |
    | 61 | .9 |
    | 1839 | 0S |
    | 587 | 1S |
    | 478 | 2S |
    | 563 | 3S |
    | 524 | 4S |
    | 560 | 5S |
    | 641 | 6S |
    | 625 | 7S |
    | 647 | 8S |
    | 683 | 9S |
    | 30638 | US |

That’s the crap that spewed out of the FCC this morning causing about 9,000 licenses to “vanish” since they are no longer in the United States
