There graphs are updated daily. You may want to bookmark the page 🙂

Note that the Mid-6AM graph is Monday-Friday (like for RedEye Radio), not Tues-Saturday for Coast to Coast…

    Really cool information.

Does the tracking option need to be on fir this data to register.

    • Art Stone says:

      Yes it does 😉

And don’t try pressing listen over and over. Part of why I don’t tout this and send out press releases is it would encourage people to come here to try to influence the numbers.

On the other side, people who are testers and logged in don’t affect the counts since I don’t know if they are testing or listening for themselves.

I’ve always wondered how my listening habits square with others. Interesting post. Thanks for the info.

Interestingly, there are fewer people listening from 6-9 PM than 9PM-Midnight

    • prboylan says:

I understand that. From 6-9 PM most people are doing family or household stuff. The 9-midnight slot is more valuable for internet listeners. The 6-9 PM slot is targeted at commuters stuck in their older cars with AM/FM radios without iPod data ports.

But in California, Savage is on from 3PM-6PM

The graphs are Eastern Time – the West Coast is why some shows are delayed and skew towards later than you might expect.

The guys who advised Rush to do his show were brilliant – Noon ET is 9 AM on the west coast, so you’re not competing with the local morning drive people. The Central time zone basically lives on Eastern time, waking up an hour earlier. There is a negligible audience in the Mountain time zone. The conventional wisdom was that only morning and evening drive mattered and everything in between was filler.

The “talent” is getting so thin – Dr Laura is gone, Bill O’Reilly, Hannity’s non stop election talk is chasing people away, Savage is gone (at least for now), Beck is slipping away to his TV thing… The new Cumulus hosts show no signs of catching fire (Huckabee, Geraldo)… Mark Levin is not gaining much despite picking up all the Cumulus stations.

If Rush stops his show, in a week there will be 300 new Sports talk stations
