How is JD Doing?

Jerry Doyle now owns the Mike Savage time slot.

Savage was hovering around #4 and Jerry Doyle was around #18

For the past 24 hours, JD in the Savage time is down to #9, Bill Wattenburg filling Doyle’s time for now is #15.

The counts are made up of two groups – people who are returning and listening to a show or station. They may have expected to hear Savage and gotten Doyle. It will take a few days for those people to decide if Doyle is an adequate substitute.

The other group are those arriving from Google. People looking for Savage arrive at the old Savage page with explanation that says he is gone.

Once it is clear what they are doing with 3-6 PM ET, I’ll create a new show and push it to the top, but if it doesn’t catch fire, the new show will lose momentum and fall to the bottom

I thought you cut Google off back when you went Galt…?

Jerry can fill Savages slot but never his shoes.

Jerry Doyle has already lost at least 80% of Savage’s audience

Too bad. Doyle has an abundance of solid points mixed with smart-asst wit. No stories about being banned in England. No passages being read from his latest book. No statements about how stupid his listeners are. Maybe losing 80% of Savage’s audience is a good thing.
