Wow! I wondered what happened to the slag. That is awesome and horrifying at the same time.
I don’t see the problem. What’s the big deal about dumping tons and tons of molten iron into a makeshift landfill? It’s corporate property, and those are UNION workers driving those switch engines!
Now if you’re a homeowner and you fill in that mosquito infested low spot in your back yard that floods each spring, then darn right you ought to serve time in jail for the environmental catastrophe you created!
Kewl video though. Although I don’t think we’re going to be seeing that duplicated on a model railroad layout anytime soon. It would be hard on the plastic scenery.
