Does not appear obvious to me. Looks to me like it could be an Obama double. There just is not enough detail in that photo to convice me. Need far more information and lots more photos, and videos, and digital voice analysis, as well as a double-blind DNA analysis.
Even then it proves nothing meaningful, nothing.
Just look at the hair – fake!
Of course if the field of view was widened so as to become obvious that the shooter was firing point-blank at a poster sized image of Wayne LaPierre that would explain a lot.

Amazing. Not only does he look uncomfortable, he is using a ported barrel. Someone call in the stand in and the non-ported Browning so that we see a real man shooting a shotgun.
The summary from the conspiracy crowd is mostly that the picture is probably real, but doesn’t depict what it was supposed to be showing – skeet shooting. The barrel is too close to the horizon, the road in the background is inconsistent with it being a skeet range, and his posture is wrong for the movement of leading the target. As you pointed out the gun is ported with a hole near the end of the barrel to reduce the recoil, he is leaning back rather than forward, and holding the stock against his cheek and not tight against his shoulder.
It is likely the only time he has ever fired a gun and was being done just to make the photo. The second amendment isn’t about protecting our right to shoot clay pigeons. Even in countries with strict gun control, people can own shotguns.
