I’ve never fired a gun, don’t aspire to, but get very concerned with government officials who want to take guns away – more often than not, in a few years people are being rounded up and winding in mass graves.
So VP Joe Biden says your wife / girl friend should repel someone trying to harm her by grabbing a double barrel 12 gauge shotgun and fire warning shots.

Agreed. Gun ownership was a significant reason the Japanese never set foot on US soil during World War II, and a significant reason it was so hard for force the Japanese to surrender.
There is a long list of countries where leaders first took the guns and then started rounding up people with opposing views.
Much of the violence in this country is caused by the drug wars.
The only problem with an AR 15 rifle in an urban environment is over penetration. If not stopped by something substantial (like four or five inches of meat) the bullets will happily sail right through a few layers of drywall or siding, endangering bystanders.
Shotgun pellets are usually smaller, and while packing quite a wollop all together, usually dissipate their energy more quickly & are thus safer for the neighbors.
While I’m not a fan of halfbaked Joe , the ladies in that entertaining video were not instructed properly about how to hold their weapon. A 12 gauge shotgun, pressed snugly to the shoulder, using a proper stance, is not a problem for even a light weight person who knows what to expect from the noise.
I recently had a conversation with my daughter, a small girl, (apx 5’6, 100#) who said she had been out with a friend shooting skeet for the first time. She was just tickled with herself because she had pulverized 98 out of 100! She was telling me her friend was dumbfounded, said she was a natural. and if anyone threatened them he was going to hand her the shotgun and get out of the way!
I asked her if she was sore after all that shooting, and she smiled and told me that it hadn’t bothered here any more than carrying her rambunctious two year old shopping.
After you fire two rounds from a double barrel shotgun you are left standing there with no ammo, and Biden lives in a wooded area in the vice presidential compound at the US Navel Observatory which is a restricted area with secret service and military guarding it 24/7.
Another ironic statement by by Biden was to fire the shotgun through the door if you were in danger. A few days later a man was in danger by some people trying to break in his house and did fire his shot gun thru the door to deter them and was promptly arrested by the police. So much for his advise to America.
Biden is a moron. So, whats that make people that voted for him ? LOL Just sayin.
Yeah, and the guys that let those girls shoot a weapon that the know is going to knock them down and hurt them, should have their asses kicked. Especially the one that set the girl up with the semi-auto shotgun with multiple shells and she goes down on the ground shooting! Idiots. Just about every one of those clips could have ended badly.

I agree with you. One of the things I don’t like about YouTube is the way it encourages young men (mostly) to create “look at me do something stupid on purpose” videos, or even worse – “watch me get someone else to do something stupid so I can film it”. I’m confident there are some people out there living in a wheelchair as a result.
That being said, it was broadcast TV that started this with “America’s funniest home videos”, etc
