Melanie was part of a wildly popular morning show in San Francisco about 10 years ago on KSFO with a man named Lee Rodgers. She left to join the TRN America’s News Network and abruptly left for health reasons. Lee Rodgers died in January 2013. She returned to KSFO and they paired her with Brian Sussman.
Melanie is married to Jack Swanson, who is well respected in the radio business. He was the VP of programming at KGO and KSFO for 17 years. He was dumped after Cumulus Radio took over ABC/Citadel, undoubtedly to “save money”. The rumor in the above link is Melanie and Cumulus are negotiating the terms of her leaving KSFO.
I like Melanie. I only listened once-in-a-while but always agreed with her point of view.
Confirmed on her web page.

No mention of her current Cohost Brian Sussman, so the rumors are probably right.
I believe Melanie will land on her feet. She will find a place to do another talk show, or something like it. The Lord knows we need sane people talking out, regardless of their political persuasion.
Has anyone else noticed that the BlameStream Propaganda about the Zimmerman trial continues to reinforce how young the victim was? How the “white-Hispanic” perp was just “looking” for trouble, carried a gun, was a ‘wannabe cop’, and ‘targeted’ the victim? So, is the fix in?
Has anyone else besides me noticed the anal-retentive, venereal New York Times, and other liberals, are now referring to the perp as a “white-Hispanic”? Is there a race of humankind called a “white-African-American”, a “white-negro”, or a “white-person-of-color”? What’s going on?
Yes, I have noticed the media blitz. It is the media that wanted the trial and the media that wants a conviction. They won’t get Murder 1, so they will now try for manslaughter. Adding charges after the trial starts seems oddly unconstitutional or, at the very least, illegal. For the media, it’s always about race. 40 plus years after the work of Martin Luther King, we have to have the media whip up the “race” card. If that doesn’t work, we have the racist-in-chief and his administration to do it.
Nancy Grace being the most blatant example
Her whole career was about one example after another.
It is interesting, in the 1960s, we needed to invest in the police state to stop racism, in the 1980s, we needed to invest in the police state to prevent people from smoking pot, and in the 2000s we needed to invest in the police state to protect ourselves from the people we kill by drones… what will the future bring?
Drones that kill racist pot smokers?
Snoopy in the helicopter drones. Put his nose to work with a tailwag sensor to indicate when Snoopy wants to bomb the black hispanic drug barons.
Check it out, it is coming… can the doggie drones be far behind?

In the dark, in the rain, it’s very unlikely Trayvon noticed Zimmerman had a gun and that caused his fear (the narrative scripted by the race hustlers) – it seems unlikely a teenager without a gun would take a swing at a stranger with a gun at the ready if he had noticed it If he was genuinely in fear of his safety from the crazy assed cracker (inside a gated community!) he had a cell phone in his hand.
Its a political trial by Al Sharpton and his political party. That same party has controlled Chicago and Detroit for decades. Chicago has 11 murders per week and not one of them has had used as a political pawn.
Right! If Trayvon was afraid of a crazy assed cracker following him in the dark, why not call 911? Instead he called his girlfriend. What would have been a believable reason for him being where he was at the time?
It doesn’t matter why he was there. He could have been robbing homes or on his way to church. It doesn’t matter whether Martin or Zimmerman are/were racists. It doesn’t matter how started the fight. Zimmerman killed Martin.
All that matters is whether Zimmerman felt threatened and in danger of his life. We are talking feelings here, and whether he felt he needed to shoot.
It is a sad situation, and I feel for the families of all involved- a loss of life like this could have been prevented and did not need to occur.
