The have been prior allegations of inappropriate conduct at Homeland Security. Who knows if some sort of additional evidence has surfaced and brought into the light of day?

I hadn’t actually played the video until reading your comment. It was funny as a written article, but watching the video made it actually a bit frightening knowing better the quality of the people that work in the US media.

We can laugh at the media for trusting government. The key is this statement from the government that the article references:
“The National Transportation Safety Board apologizes for inaccurate and offensive names that were mistakenly confirmed as those of the pilots of Asiana flight 214, which crashed at San Francisco International Airport on July 6.”
No names of NTSB employees or supervisors were mentioned, no mention of anyone being fired, and no mention of anyone being held accountable.
