At least for tonight.

As a product from the War on Drugs, the government started suing citizens to make them suffer, even when the were not able to prove a crime.

I’d get the same travel planner as Snowden. This was a small victory, the self righteous are going to make this man, this white Hispanic’s life hell.

    He wants his gun returned

Despite all the incitement by the media, no significant social disruption over the Zimmerman Not Guilty Verdict. What gives?

Everyone in the black community knows a punk like Trayvon?
Black leaders control whether people do or don’t riot?
Not wanting to embarrass their president?
They watched the trial and Zimmerman shot in self defense?
They realized the white media was urging them to riot?

    • Nidster says:

DOJ has not spent enough money, or employed enough resources to create widespread demonstrations or riots. Where’s La Raza? I know Zimmerman is not Mexican but he is Hispanic. It would make perfect sense for La Raza to jump in and help bolster his reputation.

Go read this very informative Rueters article:

A Zogby poll indicates younger voters, voting 61% for Obama has now fallen to 46% approval; Hispanics 71% down to 68% (no poll #’s on white Hispanics); Black African American support was at 93% now down to 84%, (no #’s on white-Black-African American support.)

While the scandal-ridden Obama administration’s poll numbers are weakening, the summer season is upon us
and that means more apathy, more mis-direction by way of Egypt’s problems and a general racheting-up of Syrian unrest. Then consider who will be the next Brazilian referee to be ‘drawn and quartered’? Throw in more Snowden disclosures and/or other whistleblower’s coming forth, the upcoming IRS testimony from Lois Lerner when CONgress is back in session, the ever present looming default on the DEBT, and then the usual back-to-school distractions.

So, looks like we can forget about riots over the little kid who was gunned down by the mean, white Hispanic, (probably voted Republican), and start to focus on Zimmerman’s whereabouts. Who knows, we could see an odds-maker spring-up any minute and start taking bets on how much longer before ‘da Zimmer’ is gunned down and finally brought to ‘justice’.

Move along folks, nothing more to see, and ‘da ObamaNation’ has little to worry about.

The political bias in the Bloomberg empire gets more and more obvious every day

“Wannabe cop”? Really? Does he carry around handcuffs? Wear a uniform and carry a metal badge? Have a police scanner in his car? Show up at crime scenes with donuts to see if he can help?

    • Nidster says:

Political bias? Yes. But, it is also willful suppression of the facts and inconvenient truths.

Hells Bells, no real growth in jobs then all that really needs to happen for SHTF is either a cut in Federal benefits, or for commodity prices spiral out of control. Some day we will need a private militia to carry guns ‘n handcuffs, wear uniforms, carry some ‘badge’, have hi-tech communications gear and conduct patrols of our neighborhoods, for our own safety.

CBS Radio News is the worst of the worst – all morning they’re running “news” intended to incite riots and / or have someone murder George Zimmerman.

Everything I believed about Walter Cronkite and CBS in the 1960s and 70s is all the more painfully obvious this week.

    • Nidster says:

Don’t forget NBC ‘doctored’ the infamous tapes to make it clear that Zimmerman was ‘targeting’ Trayvon because he was ‘black’. When you hear the whole conversation Zimmerman was asked, “Can you tell if he is Hispanic or black?”

I’m at a loss to know what to do about this. It’s the national brands that fund the networks. You can’t boycott everything. I refuse to fund cable TV by subscribing. Beyond that, I don’t know what to do. The power of TV to form public opinion and attitudes is huge. How else do you explain people waiting in line to pay $95 a day to walk around wearing plastic mouse ears?

Tenth Amendment Center is a good place to go to for answers. State level grassroots work is the last best place to carve out an enclave since the federal level has been hijacked. The leadership of both political parties have been usurped by the radicals who are trying to abolish the Rule of Law, the Constitution, and taking other various and nefarious actions.

Hate to see the Tenth Amendment Center fail, but that is going to happen unless they get some $$$$ very soon.
I gave some and others could and should do the same. It is the only grassroots organization that is effective at the state level. Even if a person does not agree with everything the TAC does, at least it is honest and does a good job of staying above petty politics.

After the verdict, I watched the two camps closely, those that thought he should have been found guilty and those that thought he should have been found not guilty.

Almost everything I saw from the guilty camp focused on how the dead boy’s mother must feel losing her son. Some talked about how others in the family must feel, or racial issues.

Only one person raised the bigger issue that was actually relevant in the case: can someone start a fight, and if losing in the fight pull a gun and kill the person you started the fight with because you felt scared? There was no proof that Zimmerman started the fight, but it was alleged. It is an interesting question.

Even more interesting that that – the political spin his how the President and the Democrats refuse to admit Zimmerman is a Hispanic and that Hispanics can be racist – it would undermine their ongoing campaign to turn lawbreaking aliens into Democrat voters.

    • Art Stone says:

The strongest evidence there was no “fight” is that Trayon’s only injury other than the gunshot was abrasions on Travon’s fist. Perhaps Zimmerman head butted Travon’s hand. It’s pretty clear Zimmerman didn’t provoke an attack by brandishing a gun – you would have to not be very smart to bring skittles to a gun fight

    • Art Stone says:

Another pretty striking difference is which group has the basic facts wrong

      – Zimmerman called 911 (no he didn’t)
      – the police operator told hum not to follow Trayvon (she said “you don’t need to do that”, to which Zimmerman said “OK”
      – he was carrying Iced Tea (he was carrying Arizona Brand Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail)
      – George Zimmeman was a “wannabee” cop – gated communities are private property. Police do not patrol within a gated community, whuch is part of why cities like them. Police will come if called, but the gated community is responsible for its own security. What he was doing is not the police’s job

1/3 of a century later, most Americans think that the residents of Jonestown drank from Kool-Aid when in fact they did no such thing- they drank from a large vat of Flavour-Aid.

  8. HPaws says:

I don’t know how to read the current reaction to the Zimmerman verdict. Are they paid for demonstrators? are they no information voters all riled up at the direction of the progressives? Is this it? One or two of the stories I had a chance to read the demonstrators were making no sense at all.

    • Nidster says:

We know this….”DOJ documents provided to Judicial Watch under the Freedom of Information Act show that in the weeks before Zimmerman was charged, CRS burned through thousands of dollars helping to organize marches at which participants exacerbated racial tensions and loudly demanded that he be prosecuted.

This isn’t the first time President Obama has used DOJ employees as his personal Alinskyite stormtroopers.

Uniformed field representatives of the CRS also assisted Occupy Wall Street and anarchist activists outside the Republican National Convention in Tampa last year.”

I happened to be flipping through the cable news channels this morning trying to avoid commercials when I landed on MSNBC. I was so stunned by what I heard, that I had to hit the rewind button on the DVR to hear it again. The “reporter” was on a tirade against conservatives for turning the Zimmerman trial into a race issue. I am not making this up. Fortunately, I was able to hit the OFF button and once I did, I was no longer stuck in their rabbit hole.

    • Art Stone says:

If Conservatives were in charge, there would have been no trial

      • Nidster says:

If the people who were tasked with enforcing the law had been allowed to do their job, regardless of political affiliation, there would have been no trial. The evidence is there to indicate enormous pressure was brought to bear on the local yokels, who were pushed aside so the big dogs could take over the case. They sold their souls to the ‘elites’. Doubt they can redeem their lives and are forever beholden to the ‘system’.

Future events and the course of history is very clear, destroy traditions, out with the old, in with the new. Government is your new Nanny.
