His defense for murdering his political opponent is he believes military officers are exempt from criminal prosecution.
I knew Musharraf was heavily involved when the first news reports were aired, whether or not he personally directed the attack is of little consequence because the guy has lots of blood on his hands. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, fully expected her to be assassinated. She would have easily won the election, if it were a fair election. A rare event nowadays, I know.
On the other hand, Mubarak has been cleared of charges and could be back, Baby !
