The bleeding hearts are looking for solutions to the problem of 50,000 abandoned dogs (mostly pit bulls or mixes) – involving more government spending and/or fund-raising.
I suggest encouraging a few Korean restaurants to open in the city, or just wait until the coyotes and bears return and take over the abandoned city.
Perhaps Michael Vick can open a gambling business in Detroit?
