Don’t panic! 8^P

At least not yet.

Those of you who read the blog should have figured out by now that I’m moving from Chicago to North Carolina (y’all). I’ve made an offer on a condo and they’ve accepted. Closing date will probably be around the 11th of October. I have to be gone from the apartment with this fine Xfinity service from Comcast by the end of October (assuming things go as planned)

Time Warner Cable may or may not be willing to let a web server hang off a residential connection. Pricing is higher than Comcast. uVerse is not an option at the address I’m moving to – the best I can do is DSL with 6Mb down, 512 kb up – that’s not fast enough for the web site unless I really tighten up the page sizes again.

If you feel the instinct to bring up the subject of asking for donations, etc… keep your hands in your pockets. 🙂 I’m just chafing a bit at the combination of the iPhone internet Bill + Cable Internet. At least I am not paying for TV 8^P

No matter what, expect a period of time when you’re on your own for a few days to find something else to do 🙂

We will go with the flow during the transition. Of course you already know there are lots of people who visit and few of us even like your blogs and banter back ‘n forth. But, as always, do what it is you want to do without worrying too much over us.

Hope your move goes smoothly with no unpleasant surprises.

Sprint and T-Mobile sell unlimited data plans..

If your condo is across from McDonald’s you can log into their free WiFi. 😉
(Actually, most McDonalds use ATT and they will disconnect you over time. I have heard that some services will actually block your MAC address if you are on too long.)

  4. BREAKING NEWS: Michael Savage announced tonight that he would indeed be moving to the 3-6 pm ET timeslot for Cumulus Media Networks in January, as he predicted about a month ago.

Sean Hannity previously announced that he would vacate that slot on Cumulus stations.

Savage read from a Cumulus news release which said he would be heard on WABC New York, WLS Chicago, WBAP Dallas, WMAL Washington, KSFO San Francisco and WJR Detroit.
