What if Iran turns friendly to the United States?

So far, the new leader of Iran seems pretty darn moderate.

Persia is one of the oldest cultures in the Middle East and they are not Arabs.

If you take a look at a map, the oil from the Caspian Sea Basin would have a much more secure route to the Indian Ocean without going through Russia or Turkey – in addition to Iranian oil coming back on the market. Combined with fracking domestically, crude prices could go into free fall. As a bonus (if needed), it would allow direct movement of supplies to Afghanistan without needing Pakistan’s extortion or transshipment through Turkmenistan.

If this comes to pass, Obama may luck into sudden economic prosperity. Can he resist the forces that will try to scuttle a new friendship? Time will tell.

Yes, time will tell, only do not forget one important piece of the puzzle, which is that carbon emissions are very, very bad and lead to global warm,,,,,errr, ‘scuse me, global climate change. So, why would the loony-tunes who inhabit East Angelica University be happy to see oil prices going lower? And was it not al-Obama who rejoiced as gas prices were rising to $4-$5 a gallon in America?

Besides, al-Obama cares not one wit when Persians rape, pillage and slaughter Arabs, Kurds, and Christians, and who cares if al-Queda does the same in Syria? Certainly not al-Obama.

Have we not more to worry with regarding the Republicans shutting-down America? The changes to our health care costs are more than enough to worry over than what happens tens of thousands of miles from our domiciles. Besides, al-Obama will squash any economic prosperity in America. So, nothing to worry over regarding any recovery.

If al-Obama wants to forge any new friendship with the oldest culture in the Middle East, i.e. the Persians (or was it the Sumerians or Annuaki?), he needs to initiate a kill-shot the to head of the beast, Israel (at least that is how the Iranian Muslims see things.)

You may have borrowed some of that sand from the Kenyon in the White House’s multiple ever shifting red line drawing as foundation for your thesis. While historically accurate (yes the Persians are antecedents to the great rabble of descamisado in Iran today) – the mosque to mosque and ‘holy’ city to ‘holy’ city control of such a vast area is unlikely from Teheran. God Bless shale, God Bless fracking and given enough time, I know, I just know in my heart that Art Bell will pin down zero point energy.

  3. I don’t have the exact quote, but Obama said that he believes that he and Iran share a common goal. He didn’t state what the goal was, of course, but I suspect that it’s the destruction of Israel and the spread of Sharia law to the entire world.
