I’m told the Democrat appointees who prosecuted DeLay went before eight grand juries before getting one to indict him.
It was three grand juries.
Tom Delay was a great “whip” and, in some ironic contrast, an extremely compassionate human being. Tom and his wife adopted a large number of children who would have been street fodder otherwise and raised them in a very sound environment. Violation of campaign finance – my a**.
Hilliary and Nancy Pelosi should be in jail, with Patrick Leahy .

The TX Democrat “machine” got tired of indicting that “ham sandwich” and found a route to Tom, The Hammer, Delay. He may have been a little prickly to some but he was my “prickly”. So happy for this vindication.
