This doesn’t change how you use the ID show function to change a program schedule, but it may give a better result.
Let’s say the schedule said that Coast to Coast with George Knapp was on a station from 1AM – 6 AM (Eastern), and at 5:15 AM you hear Wall Street Journal this morning, because the station started carrying the show – and no longer fills the hour with the replay of Coast to Coast.
Up until now, if you reported WSJ this morning at 5:15 (and are a volunteer), it would remove the entire 5 hours of Monday’s Coast to Coast show from the schedule for that station. Now it should do the more logical thing of cutting back C2C to 1-5 AM instead of deleting it.
