NY Times: Healthcare.gov was not going to work

Despite all the money and what is at stake, White House political leaders turning the project over to people who were given little direction and had little experience ensured failure.

The story mentions that the fight over whether people would have to register first to see quotes was still going on a few weeks ago. The identity verification feature that was removed was provided by Oracle.

    The goal is to destroy private insurance. Once the Fed owns you and your healthcare, you aren’t likely to recover – physically or politically.
