Who killed Gus Deeds?

If Gus had a gun, why would he use a knife to try to kill his father?

If his father used the gun in self defense, would the police make up a false suicide claim?

Was Vince Foster in the area?

Senator Deeds defeated Terry McAuliff in 2009 for the Va governor’s race.

His son Gus was kicked out of school for underage drinking and someone just tried an involuntary psychiatric confinement but he was released because there was no bed.

Motive is fairly clear.

I tell you what, ‘death’ follows anyone that is even remotely connected to the Hilliary gang! But of course “…What does it matter”

I am volunteering for whoever is running against Sen. Mark Warner VA next year. If it’s a Labra-doodle, I am voting for the Labra-doodle. If its a Opossum running:
    I am voting straight ‘opossum’.
I am so tired of this socialist cheit.
With McAuliff in the governors mansion in Richmond come this January, no sheep are safe in the Richmond-Petersburg metroplex area.

Embarrassed & disgusted by my state of Virginia,

    Additional details…

Only the father and son were present at the home. An early report mentioned the detail that the Senator walked out to the road and was met by a relative.

Police are still hedging using terms “assumed it was suicide” or “most likely was suicide”. There is a whole science that answers questions like this – what was the direction of the bullet wound, which direction did the blood spatter go, whose gun was it?

It’s really unfortunate and Dad was most likely totally justified if he used the gun in self-defense, but that may be politically problematic.

One thing for sure is we’ll hear demands for more funding for involuntary psychiatric confinement.

The Senator was divorced in 2009 and remarried. Investigators should have a chat with Mom as well.

Medical examiner rules it was a selt-inflicted suicide done with a rifle.

Any gun “nut” care to take a stab at why that is unlikely?

It brings back memories of the guy in Mena Arkansas who committee Unicode suicide with two bullets to the back of the head.

This story brings back memories of Vince Foster who committed suicide with a bullet to the head, and the amazing fact that there was little no loss of his brains or blood.

Vince was a very considerate guy who did not want to call attention to his demise as it could relate to confidential information he made have been privy to regarding Hillary. Only God knows how much abuse she was subjected to, at the ‘hands’ of the notorious sexual predator she married.

      Committing Unicode is not easy

    • Art Stone says:

Okay, no takers. I’ll show off my gun ignorance.

A rifle differs from a shotgun because it has a spiral groove on the inside of the barrel – a rifle shoots a solid bullet and the rifle groove cause the bullet to spin which causes the bullet to fly straight for a long distance rather than tumbling when it starts to lose velocity.

This means a rifle has a long barrel – your arms are not long enough to pull the trigger if the end of the barrel is pointing at your head. Suicide by rifle typically requires the gun be mounted in a way that allows the trigger to be pulled remotely. This was an active altercation

The police were called to the house the prior day, which is what led to the involntary psychiatric evaluation. Nearby facilities said they did have beds, but nobody called them. The more we learn, the less sense it makes.

Great, some more unintended consequences from Northern Virginia voting, like fools.
“Beretta Passes on Building Factory in VA over McAuliffe Gun Control Stance

Until Virginia Governor-elect Terry McAuliffe (D) was elected on November 5, Beretta USA had the Old Dominion on a short list of states in which it could build a new factory.
The USA side of Beretta has been based in Maryland, but Governor Martin O’Malley’s (D) gun control push convinced them to move to a more gun-friendly climate.
According to The Washington Times, Beretta already “has a distribution center in Spotsylvania, VA,” so building the new factory in the state made sense–when Virginia had a pro-gun governor McDonnell.
Beretta USA’s general counsel Jeff Reh said, “The anti-gun ads that McAuliffe ran in northern Virginia were particularly offensive. And the fact that he could gain a voting advantage by doing so caused us additional concern.”
Reh added: “All this was a real disappointment because of the great pro-gun and pro-business response we received from the Commonwealth and local political and business leaders throughout our search process in [the state].”
Until McAuliffe was elected VA was “one of six finalist locations” being considered by Beretta executives.”
