Over Thanksgiving dinner, I was regaled with the wonders on the football prowess of the South Carolina gamecocks and mumbled something like “Go Clemson!” to which I was admonished that I had just proven I know nothing about College football. Ha!
South Carolina earlier did win the prestigious Capital One bowl, which is not one of the final 4 BCS bowls.
Mere moments ago, the Clemson Tigers won the Orange Bowl.
Until 15 minutes ago, I didn’t even know Clemson was playing in a bowl game. It’s a fact I know nothing about college athletics and I’m proud of that.

Based on the cricket noises today, it would appear so.
Bob Brinker is a treat during the NFL post season. He’s watching the football game and pretending he is listening to the caller’s questions
One time, years ago, he got a call from a former old time professional baseball player. Bob talked with him for 20 minutes and was saying goodbye when the player asked if it was alright for him to ask his question now. lol Bob was a million apologies and immediately realized he had gotten lost in his own baseball dreams.
There was a time long, long ago when I was a religious fanatic sports fan, but as it is said, “Things change”. So, no longer being a religious fanatic sports fan, but knowing the different teams I would have been able to adroitly ‘side-step’ the admonishment you received. Glad to see you were not embarrassed.
So, what is the world’s most powerful, most wealthy, most influential, most listened to, most watched, most followed religion?
