The left leading a sponsor boycott of Beck may in the end be the best thing that could happen to Beck. In a subscription based model where he controls the distribution, he becomes dependent only on his listeners’ willingness to give him money.
There hasn’t been a formal announcement yet, and it’s always possible the clues they found are for an abandoned project – but it all looks right to me. The trademark only applies to Internet TV. Cable TV for the first time has started to lose subscribers. Perhaps Glenn is just going to skip that step.
