Egypt reopens border crossing with Gaza

Gaza is a strip of land along the Mediterrean Coast. It is densely populated and has little economic activity other than begging for aid from the United States.

The Old Egypt was sympathetic to the idea of isolating Gaza – resulting in extensive problems with smugglers digging tunnels under the border.

One of the objectives of “Free Egypt” is to make it easier for people from Gaza to go back and forth to Egypt and the world beyond.
