What you probably didn’t read about the Las Vegas shootings

From the Las Vegas Sun

From there, the Millers went across the street to a Wal-Mart. Jerad Miller entered the front door, raised a handgun, fired a round and told the people to “Get out. This is a revolution. The police are on the way.”

Nearby, Joseph Robert Wilcox, 31, was at a checkout area and heard the commotion.

“He told his friend he was going to confront the suspects,” McMahill said of Wilcox. “He was carrying a concealed weapon, and he immediately and heroically moved toward the position of Jerad Miller.”

But Wilcox didn’t know Jerad Miller wasn’t alone. As Wilcox confronted Jerad Miller, Amanda Miller shot Wilcox in the chest.

“He immediately collapsed,” McMahill said. The shot was fatal and the Millers had claimed their third victim in their revolution.

I had not heard that. Thanks, Art. It is easy to get depressed some times with the media focusing on bad news… and to think that society has gotten worse but there are good people like brave, selfless Mr. Joseph Robert Wilcox.

The President now wants us to pay for the college costs of people that studied art and literature, borrowed money foolishly and have limited career prospects. I, instead would want to see that money help pay off the debts of Mr. Joseph Robert Wilcox and leave a small sum for his family.

I’ve never had CCW training nor any kind of active shooter situational awareness. What I would guess is the training is along the lines that if you’re in this situation and decide to use your concealed weapon, size up who is in the line of fire and shoot to kill. Surprise is your ally. Don’t fire a warning shot, don’t order them to drop their gun, don’t brandish your gun but not fire. Be aware if the safety on your gun is on and whether or not you have a round in the chamber.

His failure to recognize the danger of the woman companion cost him his life. Likely his actions did stop their plans in the tracks and saved lives – making everyone more aware of the situation and distracting the shooters.

The other media – electronic – is there with the information. Unfortunately, you have to look it up. The propaganda pushers on television had it that it was a woman who was killed at Walmart by a crazed skinhead (read: right wing) couple. And this passes for journalism.

  3. Art Stone says:

Once again the AP and TV picked up the narrative spoon fed to them by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Any crime like this must be motivated by white supremacist neo nazi skinheads that are part if a militia movement that blows up government buildings and wants to put Jews in concentration camps.

Even the most cursory look shows this couple to be the exact opposite. Looking at his YouTube videos, the reason for the Swastika on the dead police was saying “the police are Nazis”, not “I am a Nazi”.

The woman seems to have been the instigator of a lot of this. She was 9 years younger than him. He was a pothead and petty thief in Lafayette Indiana, where Caterpillar is located, between Indianapolis and Chicago. His rage was directed at local police. The day of the shooting, they got up at 4:30 AM (or were still up) and walked on foot to the evil Wal-Mart (4 miles in 7 hours).

My sense is they are much more likely to be Jugalos than Klan members. I doubt the media will care – the truth will not match their template.

This stuff comes in waves. In the 30s and 40s it was Hearst against those dirty wet backs and their marijuana (rather than the English word hemp and its connection to our Founding Fathers).

In the 50s it was the communists.

In the 60s it was the hippies.

In the 70s it was Watergate and the Republicans.

In the 80s it was the communists again.

In the 90s, it has switched to drug pushers.

In the 00s, it was “terror” that was the enemy.

In the 10s, it is people that feel they are taxed enough already (aka racists)

There is almost always a SINGLE group that is the root cause of almost every problem in society.

In the press conference story I just read, the Sherrif correctly communicated that their message was “police are Nazis”, not “we are Nazis” – but he went right back to the SPLC narrative that they were probably “white supremacists”

Let’s get real. They were a couple living out the Nancy Pelosi dream of “hanging out” to find themselves by begging for money doing cosplay for tourists.

One other tantalizing piece of information was that the woman allegedly had a part time job at Hobby Lobby. So they were not neonazis, but homophobes!

        • CC1s121LrBGT says:

Wow. Do you think the Sherrif was trying to mislead people or do you think he has no education?

Nazi’s were the best example of white supremacists that I can think of from last century. There were others, of course, but for most it was just talking points.

Now that people are already forgetting, the errors by the police and press are quietly being corrected.

The husband was killed by a rifle bullet to the chest. Police are being coy that they don’t know for sure who fired the fatal shot. His wife did not have a rifle.

He absolutely deserved to die, but why make up this story of that he was killed by his wife?

    • Art Stone says:

The next press conference was clearer still. There is video (not surprisingly since it was inside a Walmart) . The fatal shot was fired first by the police. After some interval not mentioned, then the woman shot her dying husband and killed herself

    Forbes fills in more details

While this story does a lot of “these things are similar so they must be related”, it states clearly two things:

    – there was no trace of “white supremacy” or racism in their motivation. They were passionately anti-racists
    – the swastika placed on the dead police was contempt for the police, not admiration for Nazis

The most blatant smear was she mentions InfoWars and 9/11 truthers, but provides no information they even know who Alex Jones is. Eventually Alex Jones is going to have a very direct connection to something like this – that becomes problematic. When does public order trump free speech? She also manages to slip in a TEA party reference.

The account does solidly connect them to the Bundy Ranch and the Constitution Party in Nevada – http://www.iapn.org/

The thing most of the folks who are upset is about the direction al-Obama is taking the country. Most seem to want a political solution, and not a violent solution. Sure there are going to be a few people who ‘opt-out’ of the “make your vote count” crowd, but by and large there will be no mass, violent uprisings from those folks.

My take is that when, or if the Establishment feels threatened by voters throwing them out of office that will be when some ‘false flag’ events start. By ‘false flag’ I mean it will be some fairly well trained individuals dressed up as “Patriots” with some appropriately-linked website filled with verbiage that portrays them as violent radicals. The election stunner the Establishment received in Eric Cantors defeat will have to be multiplied many times over before the Establishment feels overly threatened with losing power.

There is the ongoing Currency War, there are the events in Ukraine and the ME that are shaping up to be the catalyst for more military action. More and more illegals from all sorts of countries are pouring into the country. This is all just more evidence of a slow, painful death of America as we once knew it. This is the re-shaping, the fundamental changes promised by al-Obama in 2008.

Hells Bells, there are 15th and 16th century writings that laid-out the establishment of a New World Order, read Francis Bacon’s little book, “Solomon’s House”. There was Adam Weiskaupt, founder of the Illuminati, who’s stated purpose for the members of his organization were to be the powers behind the throne, the advisor’s to the royals. So, what do we see today? Most of the dirty deeds are being these days are done by un-elected, un-vetted people that al-Obama put into positions of power, or were already in place, like the IRS, the EPA and so on and so forth. Then we have to deal with all the Corptocracies and the Technocrats.

Glenn Beck, Buck Sexton, Dr. Joseph Ferrell and others like us see this is what is happening today. The basic idea is to change America into a Welfare State, and by having an overwhelming core of voters depending on the government for their hand-out or their welfare checks they will be in power endlessly. God help us if the Transhumanist ever do get the ability to cheat death for hundreds of years and rule over the masses.
