Holy cow! What level did you end on? My wife was well over 100.

Well, they moved the goalpost – I’m currently on level 1,120 (not buying anything)

Candy Crush pretty clearly has “jumped the shark” – they are making the game easier and easier and I see little activity by others. If you would like her to vanish for 5 years, I can offer tips to get further along, but in the end it does require a type of thinking that requires patience. The main thing to realize is it isn’t a random game at all – the difficulty level is adjusted on the fly, probably influenced by your willingness to spend cash to keep up with your Facebook friends.

WOW! Man, that is an accomplishment. My wife hasn’t bought anything either, so it’s all been a big grind for her to get to 100+. Didn’t help that I cleared the cache in her phone to free up some memory for her and set her back to level 1! 🙂

Well I use Facebook – I will stipulate that the iPad and iPhone sync to each other, although I rarely use the phone. There were a couple levels where the only way to finish requires using a desktop because things work differently in mobile in subtle ways
