The Charlotte Observer is a McClatchy newspaper that is and always has been insipidly liberal. They are currently cheerleading the boycott of the HB2 transgender bathroom law.
The housing stock in Charlotte is below a three month supply. Developers can’t build new housing fast enough, which I can confirm from the last week of driving around.
I get a thrill watching the demolition of the Observer newspaper building. I’m not sure, but I think the reporters for the newspaper are now based in California

Drove by today – the building itself is half torn down. The staff have been moved to three floors of the 20 story NASCAR tower a couple blocks away
