Donald Trump invades Mexico today

Over the weekend, Donald Trump decided he would visit Mexico today (Wednesday) to discuss the future of relations between the United States and Mexico.  This could be the day that makes or breaks the Trump campaign.

There is significant risk of a visit on such short notice.   Normally, the Secret Service wants weeks of preparation to scout out a place where people under their protection visit.   Depending on how Trump’s skills work in the real world, Trump could come out with Mexico thinking he’s the greatest guy ever, or the biggest threat to the world since Genghis Khan.   Appearing too friendly with Mexico could alienate much of his support. The win-win strategy might be that the solution to the “Mexican problem” is  to strengthen Mexico so that Mexicans want to stay in Mexico .

No word yet on whether Hillary will visit Mexico …   Maybe she could visit Louisiana on the way .

John McCain, Marco Rubio, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz all won their primary races on Tuesday.

I cannot wait to hear what he has to say after he returns. There are so many political pitfalls in this visit, unless Nieto is a player also, they both can come out smelling like roses here. Hillary might be in trouble (also those new deleted emails from the State Dept which she claimed were personal). Something has to happen with her. How in the hell she gets away with these things? It’s frustrating to me.
