Politics is a funny and fickle game. Comey was hailed as a hero back in July. He was the greatest thing since baseball, apple pie, and Chevrolet. Suddenly on FRI he became a pariah and according to Dirty Harry Reid who called Comey a violator of the Hatch Act. All within 90 days Comey is a leper, a persona non grata, an undesirable.

I am hoping for the best, but bracing for the worst. I still believe this is just smoke and mirrors, a dog and pony show. I believe Comey needed to self-atone for his big mistake in July and is now trying to soothe his pride. Crazy year 2016 and look who is playing in the World Series.

In spite of all the baggage the Clinton Cosa Nostra carries, 40% of the voters will indeed vote for Hillary. When you promise to give away even the kitchen sink there are a lot of takers. You cannot defeat Santa Hillary.

Larry Nichols thinks this is the opposite of what it appears to be – that there is nothing incriminating in the emails, and this is distracting people from the Wikileaks dump, which has President Obama emailing with Hillary on an account he denied knowing existed.

Huma does have some explaining to do, however. She has testified that she had turned over all of her devices (the ones not already smashed with a hammer) and that she didn’t have copies of emails. Can Hillary survive without Huma?
