Outstanding Durian Milkshakes at most Malaysian and Vietnamese restaurants in the USA. Very tasty. Most also have Papaya shakes as well, also worth the trip.
We started watching a film on Amazon Prime called “The river of exploding darians”, vaguely a love story set in a village protesting a nearby radioactive rare earth processing plant in Malaysia. We lasted maybe 15 minutes and fell asleep

This is the only Malaysian restaurant in Charlotte, and I don’t see durian mentioned.

Vietnamese Restaurant – skip the durian and just have pho!
Pho is so outstanding that it took me years to discover the excellent Vietnamese sandwiches. Love Vietnamese food.
