The takeaway is that this BMW plant in South Carolina has assembled over 5 million vehicles, the vast majority of which are 4 wheel drive SUVs exported back to Europe and China. There is an inference that the important components like the transmissions are built in Europe, giving much flexibility of which country you wish to tax the profits.
Contrary to what was said in the video, BMW also is assembling the X5 in a plant in Kaliningrad Russia.
