Greece to EU: Hold on just a second

There is significant sentiment within the Greek people wanting a default.

In a surprise move, Prime Minister George A. Papandreou announced he is not agreeing to the “Aid” package and instead put it to a popular vote – as to whether Greece wants to become the slave property of German and French banks.

The European markets are in turmoil today.

Greece!  Cease Fire or we start dropping bombs 5 minutes ago!   We must protect the Greek people from their out of control government!

The Euro is down about 4% so far, which should mirror how far the dow is going to fall (due to the forex change, not fundamentals of the US Economy)

  1. Piquerist says:

About a century AD, Greek historian Plutarch wrote that, “We should not give power to an uneducated man.” Nobody reads Plutarch, it seems.

  2. Art Stone says:

The Greece PM has withdrawn the idea of a vote in January. He hoped to shore up his government by forming an alliance with Antonis Samaras, who is “Center Right” in Greek politics, which means maybe he isn’t a Communist.

Antonis Samaras walked out of parliament in protest.

The train has left the station.

    Italy is next in line.
