Whores and Heroin addicts love Ron Paul!

Get ready.  The Bain Capital media machine (Clear Channel) wasted no time fabricating a “news” story on its network of radio station web sites, announcing that “Prostitutes endorse Ron Paul”.

Fox News is leading the charge, too.

CBS too!

Libertarians make easy targets, some of it their own doing.   Americans are in self denial.  They don’t want freedom and the responsiibillty that goes with it – they want government to “take care of them”.

So who are really the whores in this story?

Whores = Republican and Democrat establishments along with their media subordinates and criminals who own voting machines. There was a good documentary on HBO years ago called “Hacking Democracy” along with countless others. It would be easier to identify the non whores in politics.

There was a time when radio stations would oppose it when their state wanted to start a lottery (for a variety of reasons). When the lottery starts buying ads to play the lottery, it’s amazing how fast the opinions change.

I wonder if there is an official libertarian position on government run gambling…

We recently got a state lottery here in Arkansas. I hear what you’re saying.

Apparently the official libertarian party position is that they favor government lotteries (which are voluntary) over more traditional involuntary means of raising revenue such as income taxes.

From the Michigan Libertarian Party website:
        http://www.mi.lp.org/Shared%20Documents/Platform.aspx

“1. The legislature should find more voluntary means of supporting state services, such as lotteries and user fees.”

          That sounds correct to me.

One issue that Ron Paul is really ducking – libertarians generally oppose using borders to create economic barriers. Libertarians mostly would say that if Mexicans want to come to the United States to work, and employers want to hire them, it’s none of the business of the government – but also not the responsibilityof the government to provide social benefits to them.
